Established in 2009, the Coeur d'Alene Firefighters Pipes and Drums is a nonprofit organization founded by members of Coeur d'Alene Firefighters Local 710. We are dedicated to the preservation, propagation and enjoyment of the arts, particularly Highland piping and drumming.
The band was conceived by members of Coeur d'Alene Firefighters Local 710 while attending a national Honor Guard convention in Lewisville, Texas. Our first official band performance was in February, 2010. We conduct weekly group rehearsals with experienced piping and drumming instructors and perform regularly at O'Shay's Irish Pub. Listen for us about town every St. Patrick's Day, when we perform at a variety of local venues.
CDAFFPD will be performing in parades, concerts, and funerals and will also be available for weddings and private functions. We would be honored to perform at other charitable events.
Please consider supporting our efforts to continue the culture of Scottish Pipes and Drums by making a donation or becoming a sponsor.
